If you’re a McDonald’s lover, you may want to think about packing up your stuff and flying over to New Zealand, because the fast food chains over there have just launched a McDonald’s share box – and yes, it’s the hangover cure of our dreams.
It costs $40 AUD, and includes 2 Big Macs, 2 McChickens, 2 cheeseburgers, 4 packs of medium fries, four medium soft drinks and four regular sundaes.
We know, it’s totally unfair.
Obviously, we’re pretty upset that it’s not available over here. But if you are looking for something bigger than the usual meal, you can still get your hands on a Grand Big Mac.
The new burger size is only in the UK for a short amount of time, and came in celebration of 50 years of the original Big Mac.
It features two beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions – all nestled inside a sesame bun – much like your standard Big Mac, except it’s bigger.
Dteven Howells, head of marketing at McDonald’s UK, said: ‘As an iconic McDonald’s product, we are proud and excited to be celebrating 50 years of the legendary Big Mac and for the first time ever in the UK, introducing the two new sizes for a limited time.
‘We know a lot of our customers will remember the 1974 launch of the Big Mac in the UK and have continued to enjoy the burger and pass the Big Mac love on since then, it remains our most iconic burger!’
It might not be a McDonald’s share box, but at least it’s something.
