Gears of War fans have been crying out for the video game to be turned into a Hollywood movie since its release in 2006.
And it turns out Guardians Of The Galaxy star Dave Bautista has tried everything to make the film happen.
After watching gamers plea for the story to be turned into a film, the A-lister decided to give them all an update on what he knows so far about production.
Taking to Twitter, the 50-year-old shared a tweet, which read: Can we get the green light for @GearsofWar movie with @DaveBautista?
They added: Please! Hollywood you listening? Movie/Gears fans need this!!!
And it seems something is happening, despite it happening very slowly.
Replying to his followers, the star said: Theyre listening. And they could give AF!.. but thank you for the support. Believe me when I say Ive tried everything to make this happen.
Fans were quick to comment and demanded that the movie was made: This is money in the bank!!! Make it happen!!! Hell at least a teaser trailer to test the market if you think it wont!
Someone else was in agreement, adding: Yo this so BS! You need to be him there is not an actor in the world more perfect for this role then you!
While another said: This would be bad ass. Terry Crews as Cole Train.

And it seems Terry wants in, as hes also been tweeting about the concept.
Sharing another fans ask for the movie to be made, the 50-year-old stated: Damn. I like this. I like this very much.
