Amanda Seyfried has hinted that she was offered the role of Gamora in Guardians Of The Galaxy but turned it down.
The Mean Girls actress revealed that she wishes she would have signed up to play a superhero when she got the chance because her daughter is now obsessed with the action films and inadvertently suggested that she was going to be painted green for the role.
The only green female superhero in a major movie is Gamora in Marvels Guardians Of The Galaxy films, and now played by Zoe Saldana.
I turned down one once and they havent called me back. It was a big one. I dont regret it. Thats the truth because I didnt want to be painted green for six months out of every year, she told MTV.

Part of me wishes I had done it, and part of me is like, “I had a life to live!” I dont think I would have been happy.
Gamora played a pivotal role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, first in the standalone Guardians films and then crossing over to the Avengers films.
The superhero, the daughter of Thanos who escaped his clutches to live her own life and try to be better than her adopted father, fell in love with Star-Lord before being sacrificed by Thanos in Infinity War in return for the Soul Stone.
However, the mystery behind Gamoras fate still hangs in the balance after an alternate timeline version of the green goddess was brought back to the future to help kick some Thanos butt in Endgame.
