There is heartbreak ahead for Sinead Tinker (Katie McGlynn) on Coronation Street as she receives the devastating news that her cervical cancer has aggressively returned and is terminal.

After finding a lump on her neck on her wedding day to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) the couple go to hospital the following day where their worst fears are confirmed.

The young mum is told that her cancer has now spread to her lymph nodes and her liver, and she has only months left to live.

Sinead and Daniel will struggle to come to terms with Sineads terminal diagnosis in the coming weeks, as Daniel tries to make plans for a future with out his wife and the mother of his son Bertie.

She was first diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2018 after ignoring symptoms, and later delayed her treatment and turned to holistic methods as she feared chemotherapy would harm her unborn child.
