Cain Dingle fuming as Moira Barton’s new love interest ‘revealed’
EMMERDALE fans saw Cain Dingle issue Moira Barton a divorce earlier this year, but that can’t stop him getting upset when his estranged wife moves on. But who is the new romance with?
Emmerdales resident wedding planner Leyla Harding (played by Roxy Shahidi) was devastated when Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Johnny McPherson) decided to break off their relationship after his daughter, Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) revealed she was struggling with all the changes in their lives and needed her dad back. However, could the real reason Liam ended things with Leyla be because he wants to embark on a romance with someone else? And how is Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) going to feel when he finds out it could be his wife?
Leyla comforted her heartbreak with a bottle or two of cheap champagne in her trashed office last month.
Ex-David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) was on hand to offer her some support, but those watching at home saw her cry her eyes and out and confess to how much she loves the villages doctor.
Following a heart to heart with Leanna, Liam realised he had to make a decision; continue dating Leyla and lose his daughter for good, or step up to the plate and be the father Leanna needs.
He chose the latter, and while Leyla understood his decision, she was completely upset.
But that upset may turn to anger in upcoming months when she realises Liam has moved onto someone else.
It comes after the cast of Emmerdale took part in a Zoom call earlier this month and fans noticed two actors were in the same household.
Celebrating Liam Foxs 50th birthday – who plays Dan Spencer – Johnny and Natalie J. Robb appeared together.
This sparked speculation amongst fans that the two of them were dating, but hadn’t announced it.
