Daniel Arenas joins Hoy Día Team

On Wednesday, January 25, Hoy Día will welcome the famous Colombian actor and new co-host of the morning show, Daniel Arenas. The three-hour live program, which is broadcast from Monday to Friday, offers a fresh and entertaining format to start the day, along with Adamari López, Penélope Menchaca, Andrea Meza and Chiky Bombom.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome the talented and multifaceted actor, Daniel Arenas, to the Telemundo and Hoy Día family,” said Ronald Day, Telemundo’s President of Entertainment and Content. “Daniel joins a dynamic and talented group of presenters and together they will continue to captivate viewers with the energy and entertainment that characterizes the morning show.”

Film, soap opera, theater and host actor, Arenas first became known in Colombia after his participation in the reality show Protagonistas de Novela. He later developed a successful career in telenovelas in Mexico and Colombia, where he has starred as the lead in S.O.S Me Estoy Enamorando, Médicos Línea de Vida, My Husband Has a Family and Corazón Indomable, among many others.

Under its new format, today it has more emphasis on entertainment and fun, but without leaving aside the importance of the news to start the day well informed. The content addresses positive and inspiring issues, in addition to useful segments for the community that highlight everything that helps to live a better life. The program connects viewers with their favorite stars, covers the latest in entertainment news and offers kitchen segments with guest chefs to enjoy the diversity of Latin gastronomy, among much more.
